Case Study: Loveland Ski Club

"I am extremely pleased with the StratOp process and with the engagement and passion, Dan showed throughout all the sessions with my organization, Loveland Ski Club.  Dan was excellent at guiding discussions and keeping them on track and productive while leading our group to draw our own conclusions and solutions. He actively encouraged participation from every member of our group and excels at reading expressions and reactions and knowing when someone has something to say, but may be hesitant.  The environment he creates allows those people to feel confident.  We left the sessions feeling very motivated to continue working to improve our organization.  Often, the discussion continued into dinner with those of us staying together.  We left the sessions very much aligned in the direction of our organization.  This is in no small part due to Dan and his ability to facilitate the session, as well as the StratOp process that looks at the whole organization, including the history, in order to move forward.  The process created some very needed direction and goals for our organization, which had undergone a couple of significant leadership changes in the previous 18 months.  The sessions have helped us move from maintaining the status quo to moving forward and upward.  Overall, the StratOp process, as well as Dan as a facilitator, exceeded the expectations of myself, the staff, and our Board of Trustees.  One of my staff members said that he was very happy with the process and results despite not having much hope going into it due to previous past experiences with strategic planning processes.  I would recommend Dan and StratOp to any organization looking for some guided help with strategic planning and creating a joined vision in their organization."

Loveland Ski Club: A note of thanks!

Just a word of Thank You for all of your hard work with LSC these past several weeks. I know you put a ton of front end research and labor into our StratOp experience, along with the respiratory infection inducing 3 full days. Then, truly above and beyond to crank out another 4 hours with us on Tuesday! What you do is so valuable, and it was an illuminating process from start to finish. We are certainly on a more united and directed path, and if those action deadlines say anything, a motivated one as well! I hope you're well on the mend by now, and able to energetically pat yourself on the back. You deserve it. Thank you!
